Hong Kong Fire Relief Fundraising Concert 香港火災支援籌款音樂會

Overview 活動簡介

On 26 November 2025, a catastrophic fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The blaze rapidly engulfed the residential block, resulting in at least 159 confirmed deaths — one of the most devastating residential fires in Hong Kong’s recent history. Many families lost loved ones, their homes, and their sense of safety overnight, and there remains an urgent need for post-fire relief and support. In response to this tragedy, classical musicians from the Hong Kong community in the UK are coming together to host a fundraising concert in support of the affected families, hoping to offer solidarity and practical help during this difficult time.

2025 年 11 月 26 日，香港大埔宏福苑發生嚴重火災，大火迅速吞噬多座住宅大樓，造成至少 159 人確認罹難，成為香港近年最嚴重的住宅火災之一。許多家庭在一夜之間失去至親、家園與安全感，現時仍有大量災後支援的需要。一群在英港人古典音樂家決定攜手舉辦一場籌款音樂會，為受影響的家庭提供支持與援助，希望在這艱難的時刻送上力量與同行。

Why This Concert 為何舉辦

We believe deeply in the healing power of music. Many Hongkongers in the UK have family or friends directly affected by the tragedy, and there is a deep sense of shared sorrow within our community.

At the same time, we also hope to offer practical help during this difficult period through fundraising. Many survivors have lost loved ones, their homes, and their sense of safety overnight. Rebuilding their lives — physically, emotionally, and mentally — is a long and painful journey, and we hope that our support can make a difference.

Through this concert, we hope to offer:

  • a space for emotional healing, reflection, and remembrance for Hongkongers living abroad;

  • an opportunity for the UK local community to show care and solidarity;

  • a quiet space for people to be together and care for one another during this time of sorrow;

  • and a way to contribute practical assistance to families who are trying to rebuild their lives.

我們深信音樂能帶來慰藉與療癒。在英國的香港人當中，不少人的家人或朋友在今次災難中受到直接影響，整個社群都承受著沉重而共同的哀傷。

同時，我們亦希望在這艱難的時刻透過籌款提供實際的支援。許多受災居民在一夜之間失去至親、家園與安全感；要在身體、情緒和心理上重新站起來，是一段漫長而痛苦的旅程。我們盼望能透過這次活動，為他們帶來一點真正的力量。

透過這場音樂會，我們希望：

  • 為身在海外的香港人提供一個情感釋放、反思與緬懷的空間；

  • 讓英國本地社群有機會表達關懷與團結；

  • 在悲痛之中，提供一個安靜相伴、彼此關心的空間；

  • 並為正努力重建生活的家庭帶來一點實際的支援與力量。

  • Time / 時間: 7:30 PM

  • Venue / 地點: Christ Church Isle of Dogs, 151 Manchester Road, Island Gardens, London E14 3BN

  • Entry / 入場: £6

  • Purpose / 用途: 100% of donations and ticket revenue will go to support post-fire relief efforts in Hong Kong (for details, please see the section below). There will also be a donation box at the venue for anyone who wishes to make an additional contribution. Cash donations are welcome. 善款和門票收入將全數用於香港的災後援助用途（詳情請參閱下文）。現場亦會設有籌款箱，如各位希望額外捐款，歡迎自備現金支持。

  • Seating / 入座方式：This is a free-seating event with no assigned seats. The church has approximately 100 chairs with backrests and around 100 without backrests. Additional non-backrest chairs may be used if needed. If you have a preference, please arrive early to choose your seat. 本音樂會採用自由入座，不設劃位。教堂約有 100 張有背靠椅及約 100 張沒有背靠椅；如有需要亦會使用無背靠椅。如對座位有偏好，建議提早到場選位。

All ticket revenue and donations collected on the day of the concert will be donated in full to the following two Hong Kong charities, in equal shares:

This event is organised in a personal capacity. We are not acting on behalf of any charity; all funds collected will be donated directly to the designated relief funds listed above. Please refer to the charities’ official webpages for the full description of fund use. We are currently contacting both organisations by email to confirm the payment and transfer arrangements. Any updates will be posted on this page.
